The members of Leona Valley Sertoma are definitely not sitting on their hands when it comes to making a difference in the communities they serve. Creating successful fundraising events is not easy, but your local Sertomans have learned how to put the “fun” in fundraising! Their events have become a much anticipated part of the Lakes and Valleys area giving the locals the opportunity to come together for a good time.
We encourage you to mark your calendars, or check our calendar, and hopefully share this information with others who might want to come out and enjoy and be a part of any of the upcoming events listed below.
1. Sunday, December 3, 2017
Leona Valley Sertoma is hosting their annual Seniors Christmas Dinner on Sunday, December 3, 2017 held at our local Community Building, 8367 Elizabeth Lake Road from 1pm to 3pm. ALL SENIORS (55 and older) are invited to enjoy a FREE MEAL, ENTERTAINMENT AND PLENTY OF FUN.

Kindly bring a canned good to be placed in our annual Christmas distribution baskets.
2. Saturday, December 9th and Sunday December 10th, 2017
Sertomans will be at the corner of 90th and Elizabeth Lake Roadd from 10am to 2pm requesting non perishable food items, toys and monetary contributions that will enable us to buy Walmart gift cards that will be shared with our local residents (in need) from Three Points, Lake Elizabeth, Lake Hughes, Green Valley and Leona Valley area. We are ALWAYS grateful for you generosity.
3. February, 2018 (day/date TBD)
Sertoma Night to raise funds for Veterans – Exact date and details to be announced.
4. Saturday, March 17, 2018
Traditional St. Patrick’s Day Dinner will be held at our local Leona Valley Community Bldg., 8367 Elizabeth Lake Rd. from 4pm to 7pm. Details to be announced
5. Saturday, April 14, 2018
Either a Murder Mystery or a Quarter Dinner Auction will be scheduled at our local Leona Valley Community Bldg., 8367 Elizabeth Lake Rd. Detailed choice to be announced.
6. Saturday, June 9th, 2018
The “Gala under the Stars”, wine, beer, food tasting, entertainment and silent auction is scheduled with complete details pending.
Anyone who has attended a past Leona Valley Sertoma event knows that they know how to do it up right and that all who attend are guaranteed a fun time with friends, family, and neighbors.
