St. Patrick’s Day Dinner 2020 Has Been Canceled

The upcoming scheduled St. Patrick’s Day Dinner of March 17, 2020, has been canceled. The members of Leona Valley Sertoma, in an abundance of caution, have chosen to cancel this year’s annual St. Patrick’s Day dinner. We appreciate that our communities look forward to event every year and we apologize to all of you who have been such devoted supporters of this particular event and of Leona Valley Sertoma, in general.

We want you to know that we did not make this decision lightly, but rather because we care about every member of our communities. We encourage you to take care of yourselves and your neighbors, as you always do, and we look forward to better days ahead for all of us.

If you can help us spread the word of the cancellation we would be most appreciative. Please share on your social media platforms, in emails, and in conversation with your family, friends, and neighbors. Thank you.

Corned Beef & Cabbage with potatoes, carrots, Onions, & Rolls

Donations:

General Adult $8 ~ Senior’s $7 (55 and over) ~ Kids $4 (12 and under)
Dinner Costs Include a GREAT selection of desserts ~ Coffee and Tea

Bar drinks, traditional Irish coffee, sodas & water will be served @ an additional cost

Scholarship Program 2020

The Scholarship Applications for 2020 are here!

In recognition of the importance of education the Leona Valley Sertoma established the Leona Valley SERTOMA Scholarship Program to identify and reward local students who have shown personal and intellectual qualities through academic achievement, as well as participation and leadership in extracurricular and community activities. Leona Valley Sertoma has given out almost $50,000.00, in scholarships since 1999. The goal of the program is to serve the needs of local graduating seniors and those community college students transferring to continue their education.

Scholarship consideration is also open to students attending Community college who live in Leona Valley, Green Valley, Lake Hughes, Three Points and Lake Elizabeth, who are transferring to a 4-year college.
