St. Patrick’s Day Dinner 2018

A St. Patrick’s Day Dinner to Remember

Hard at work at the 2018 St. Patrick's Day Dinner.
Bev Brownfield (l) & Betty Wade (r)

The St. Patrick’s Day Dinner has been going on in Leona Valley longer than I can remember and has always been a big crowd pleaser. Come out and join your friends and neighbors for a late afternoon get together that is always filled with good times and good food. This is one of the Leona Valley Sertoma fundraisers that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face as you enjoy good food prepared and served by the volunteers who work hard to make sure everyone is taken care. Your ears will enjoy it too, from the laughter and happy conversations of the attendees to the Irish music provided by the very talented Mayde In Ireland.

If you miss this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Dinner, you will have to wait a year for it to come around again, so make your plans now to put on something green and be a part of this St. Patrick’s Day Dinner event.

To learn more about Leona Valley Sertoma and how you could become a member why not plan to attend one of our Saturday morning meetings. We meet the first and third Saturday of every month, at Jack’s Place, in Leona Valley, starting at 8:00am. To learn more about Sertoma, visit their web page at Sertoma International. If making a difference in your community and improving the life of your neighbors and friends sounds like something you want to be a part of, then we encourage you to join us.

Sergeant Steve Owen

That Man is a Success

Who has lived well – laughed often and loved much.
Who has gained the respect of intelligent men and women AND the deepest love of his children.
Who has filled his niche AND accomplished many tasks While leaving the world a better place than he found it.
A generous gift or a soul that cared, Sergeant Steve Owen stood unselfish to all around him.
Never did he lack appreciation of all the earth’s beauty or fail to express it.
A contributor, a patriot, a scholar and a mentor Who looked for the best in others – AND, at all cost, gave the best he had!

To The Entire Owen Family ~

Wife, Tania ~ Children, Chadd, Branden and Shannon Mother, Millie and Brother, David
There are no words to properly express our sincere and deepest sympathy to your family… We owe you all a “thank you” for sharing him as one of the greatest public servants imaginable.
So, with all due respect and admiration, Sergeant Steve Owen (The Bullfrog”) will always remain a hero in the eyes and hearts of our entire Leona Valley community and beyond.

God’s Blessings Always,

Sertoma Members of Leona Valley October of 2016
